N-ary summation

Big sigma, the series summation operator: ∑ xᵢ adds a sequence of terms. In plain text put bounds after it in words or subscript notation, since stacked limits need real math layout. Do not substitute the Greek capital letter Σ (U+03A3) — they look similar but ∑ is taller, designed to dominate a formula, and semantically the operator.
