Three-em dash
An unbroken dash three ems long. In bibliographies it stands in for a repeated author name; typographically it makes a strong horizontal divider. Encoded in Unicode 6.1, so font support is thin on older platforms — three consecutive em dashes (———) are the usual fallback, though they may show gaps.
