Subscript two

Subscript two, the character that makes H₂O and CO₂ possible in plain text — filenames, tweets, window titles, anywhere sub markup cannot go. The full subscript digit set runs U+2080–U+2089. Rendering is solid in modern system fonts but can sit awkwardly in fonts without true subscript glyphs.
