Bullet

The standard round list bullet, the default marker for unordered lists in nearly every editor and style guide. It sits centered on the x-height, unlike the baseline period. Typographic convention nests ◦ and ▪ beneath it for deeper levels. Do not substitute the middle dot · (U+00B7), which is smaller and meant for separating inline items, not marking lists.
