A solid filled square used for legend swatches, stop buttons, redaction marks, and heavy list bullets. It pairs with the white square □ for filled and empty states. This full-size square stays a text glyph everywhere — unlike the small variants ▪ and ▫ and the medium squares ◼◻, which are emoji-capable and may render in color on phones.
