En dash

Connects ranges of numbers, dates, and pages (1999–2004, pp. 33–37) and links paired concepts such as the Boston–London flight. Set it closed, with no spaces around it. Wider than a hyphen but narrower than an em dash (—) — the three are constantly confused, and a hyphen in a date range is a classic typographic slip.
