Earth

The globus cruciger — orb surmounted by a cross — as a symbol for Earth, used in notation such as M♁ for Earth mass. The alternative symbol ⊕ (U+2295, circled plus) is more common in modern astrophysics; this is the traditional form. Font support is thinner than for the classical planet signs.
